We are looking for a Cost Estimator with a positive and tenacious personality to work closely with our Technology and Commercial team to enable us to make the right decisions based on accurate and reliable cost information across all PtX project elements. You will develop, implement, and update CWP Global’s PtX cost model for equipment, material, and construction works.

🫡 Your main responsibilities include - but are not limited to! - the following:

• Lead the development and management of CWP Global’s PtX cost model, including underlying scope assumptions and management of related uncertainties and resulting contingencies
• continuously monitor, update and improve the PtX cost model based on input from internal subject matter experts, or in collaboration with consultants, OEMs, and contractors to improve data coverage and quality
• work with the Digital Tools Team to incorporate cost information in the digital twin software

• work with the Commercial Team to support value proposition and business case modeling

🫵🏼 Who you are:

Mandatory

• Technical background in civil, electrical, or chemical engineering
• Proven experience with cost management either in a projects, engineering, procurement or commercial environment
• Self-motivated paired with the ability to work independently and with remotely located teams of different cultures
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize competing workload
• Availability to travel

• Experience with MS Office 365
• Fluent in English
• Experience with an international environment

Nice to have

• Knowledge of French, Spanish, or Arabic is a plus
• Prompt engineering and proficient use of the latest AI engines (e.g. Chat GPT)
• Knowledge of Python coding or of databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
